The next generation is here.
I’m aware I might not be entirely objective since I know the creators of Poker Sciences, but I’m still writing this review to show them some support ;)
I’ve been playing poker for a little over 10 years, grinding on a bunch of sites (mainly Wina, but also a bit on Betclic and PokerStars — before the user experience there got much worse), as well as live games in clubs and occasionally in casinos.
I’ve always had a bit of trouble with spins because I saw them as too high variance, but PA’s videos on Kill Tilt always made me want to dig deeper into the format. So I bought the KT masterclass and was happy with it.
Unfortunately, for preflop charts, I used to rely on Spin For Win, but those are no longer available since the site shut down. So it was only natural that when I heard a longtime friend, a pro player, was creating Poker Sciences and had released their own charts, I bought them.
And the product is great. Clear. Simple. Complete. The idea of having two levels of difficulty is simple, but it really makes a difference. I was always a bit hesitant to pay for preflop charts, but this completely changed my mind. It’s not exactly cheap, but I think the price is totally justified considering the amount of work that must have gone into building these charts — and compared to a masterclass on any French site, it’s actually pretty affordable.
You’ve created a must-have for any Spin player, and hats off for that.
All the best.
